Helping your child to grow.
Curriculum mapping is a method for demonstrating how well and to what extent the school has matched the content that the children have chosen with the academic expectations and learning standards.
Each curriculum map details the themes that the children will cover during the autumn, spring and summer terms. The themes covered in all maps include areas such as mathematical concepts, family and community links, subject area coverage (science, design and technology, history etc.), and enrichment experiences.
Throughout the school, children are provided with an independent learning approach through which they are able to make choices and challenge themselves in the learning environment. Children explore and challenge themselves, accessing a range of key skills. They are encouraged to reflect on their own learning journey and grow.
